Tech Savvy Creative has been a dream of mine for the past four years. You see, before I was a wedding photographer I spent years in the IT world. I had jobs ranging from tech-support at Apple, to web development had a major university, to developing web applications at a very large insurance company. If you told me that my life would take me down the creative entrepreneur route, I would’ve thought you lost your marbles. But here we are… and I couldn’t be happier.

So here’s the thing, our creative world is extremely technical whether we want it to be or not. Yes, many of us consider our work an art, which it absolutely is. But to be successful and thrive in our world, it is so important to have at least a foundational understanding of the technology that we use on a daily basis. “But Dawn, I’m so not tech savvy!” Friend, I get it. It’s overwhelming and downright intimidating. But rest easy, I’m here to help you!

I’ve created a resource for all creative entrepreneurs and small-business owners to become a tech savvy boss. I am here to teach you everything from the basics of building a website to advanced systems and backup solutions that will protect your business. I’m a huge fan of technology, and I hope after spending some time here you are too. This isn’t meant to be scary, and learning some simple steps to tackle your tech will only empower you to be the successful entrepreneur you are meant to be.
