tell me more

I'm a software engineer turned wedding photographer and the voice behind Tech Savvy Creative. I love all things technology and spent many years in the world of IT before running my own business. I'm a Mama to Kendall and Quinn, and a Wife to Andrew, and utilizing technology effectively is so important to me because it means I get to spend more time with my favorite people!

Have you ever wondered what software runs Tech Savvy Creative? Well look no further, I’d love to tell you about my top 5 and why I love these tools!

Website – Showit

First and foremost is the mighty tool that powers my websites – Showit*. Your website is your little corner of the internet, and having a stunning and easy to update site is so important. For my websites (yes, multiple!), I use and adore Showit. Not only is the tool phenomenal, but the team and support is as well!

Email Marketing – Flodesk

Next, is another tool I adore – Flodesk*. With Flodesk, I’m able to create beautiful marketing emails to keep my subscribers in the loop. Not only that, but I also use it for all of my opt-ins too! If you are looking for a stunning yet simple email marketing experience, look no further. This is the one for you.

Task & Project Management – ClickUp

The next tool that keeps me sane is ClickUp*. I’m someone who has to dump all of my thoughts and tasks into one place so I don’t forget what I need to be doing, and that place for me is ClickUp. I use it to track my client’s progress, my content calendars, my speaking engagements and brand partnerships just to name a few. I’ve bounced around a few different task tools lately, but ClickUp is always the one I come back to!

CRM – Sprout Studio

Then there’s the heartbeat of my business, Sprout Studio*. Sprout Studio has been my CRM since my photography days, and even though the tool is built for photographers, it’s been wonderful for running Tech Savvy Creative as well. Sprout offers robust scheduling, booking and tracking features that help me automate my scheduling for my one-on-one clients every day!

Cloud Backup – Backblaze

Last but not least, is possibly the hardest working tool in my toolbox – Backblaze*. Backblaze continuously backs up my computer and external hard drives to the cloud. Automatically. Continuously. Thanks to Backblaze, I’m not worried what will happen when a hard drive fails or my computer ends up in my toddler’s hands. That is the type of peace of mind that every entrepreneur needs.
